Avonmouth, Bristol - Commercial Warehouse Rooftop Solar Installation

Avonmouth, Bristol - New Build Distribution Centre- 260.1 kWp solar PV system

AB Renewables designed and delivered a high-capacity rooftop solar PV system for a newly built distribution centre, serving one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains, transforming the building into a clean, on-site power generator from day one.

The system was fully integrated into the construction programme and engineered to maximise roof space, performance, and long-term reliability, while meeting all grid and fire safety requirements.

The project includes:

  • 568 X JA solar 450W panels
  • Total capacity: 260.1 kWp
  • 2 X times SolarEdge 100 kW inverters
  • 289 X SolarEdge S1000 optimisers
  • SolarEdge Firefighter Gateway
  • 4G monitoring with 2 years pre-paid connectivity
  • G99 grid application included

The completed installation delivers substantial on-site renewable electricity, reducing grid reliance, lowering long-term energy costs, and cutting operational carbon emissions. Panel-level optimisation and real-time monitoring ensure consistent performance and full system visibility.

This project demonstrates AB Renewables ability to deliver large-scale commercial solar installations efficiently, compliantly, and ready to perform from day one.
